Most of the visitors to CERT made one or two remarks about the Centre, but the remarks are similar for most of them. Few to be mentioned here are:

Jerry W. Niewodniczariski: It was a great pleasure for we to have the opportunity to present the polish experience on the regulatory procedures done by my office in Poland. For me it was even more exatra time I spent four years (1979-1982) as the university professor (Physics) in the country.

Prof. E. H. K. Akaho: The centre is the proud owner of a research reactor. There is no doubt in my mind that the reactor will be safely operated and maximally utilized for the benefit of the country. On the whole, I am highly impressed and wish CERT Gods blessing as they put Nigeria on the nuclear map of the world.

Dr. Mohammed El-Baradei: With my very best wishes for the centre and with the confidence that it will be put to very good use towards accelerating the socio-economic development of Nigeria.

Cristina Ciuculesce: I am pleased that I have the opportunity to visit the newest research reactor in the world-NIRR-1 in Zaria, Nigeria. The hospitality of CERT is excellent and the cooperation of the staff during the mission was exemplary. I would like also to thank to Prof. Umar for the entire support received during the mission and I hope that the safety aspects of reactor operation will be the main objective of CERT.

Fred J. Watsuna: It has been a pleasure to participate in the IAEA mission on the review of the operation, safety and other aspects of the NIRR-1 Zaria, Nigeria. The staff has paid an enormous effort in answering all questions and remarks. But on top the open and friendly atmosphere was admirable.

Muhigela Amha: Seeing it years later, I noticed with appreciation CERT has grown into a centre of excellence in nuclear science and technology and I hope it will grow even further in future.

Prof. Yiguo Li: Thanks for Prof. Funtua for kind co-operation and help during the period March 26-April 6, 2007 for Zaria mission.

Paul G. Waugaman: We appreciate the warm reception by a competent staff using great facilities. Best wishes for continuous success.
